Max Pilgrim is a musician, composer, and technician with professional experience across composition, audio production, and live sound.

As a composer, Max's output spans self-released, signed, and commissioned projects. His self-released music inhabits the space between experimental and conventional electronic music. His library music compositions, which are signed to Twisted Jukebox, focus on minimal tension and amorphous ambient soundscapes. Max has also been commissioned by marketing agencies to compose original music for promotional films.

Max is a multi-instrumentalist and plays violin, guitar, piano, and drums. He has a particular passion for Eurorack modular synthesis, and enjoys exploring the tactile, hands-on approach to composition and sound design. He holds a BMus in Creative Music Technology (2:1) and an MMus in Music Composition (Distinction), grounding his creative practice in rigorous technical and theoretical training.

As a technician, Max brings extensive experience across both studio and live environments, with a specialism in audio recording and post-production. In addition to his creative and technical work, he also provides tuition in music technology and composition at all levels.
